Course Overview
The Internal & External Auditor course is designed for those looking to build their auditing knowledge and skills for any type of management systems assurance role.
During the course, you will build a foundational understanding of conducting and leading an audit, including audit processes, document review and how to structure an audit program. This comprehensive training provides participants with the skills needed to conduct thorough and effective management systems audits.
Participants will be equipped with the knowledge and skills they need to manage and support effective systems within their organisation, or audit an external organisation – approaching audits as a means for learning and improving, rather than an exercise to simply tick the boxes. Our experienced trainers will guide you through practical exercises and real-world scenarios to ensure you are well-prepared to handle internal and external audits.
This course also serves as an ideal refresher for anyone who has previously completed a full Lead Auditor course.

Course Information
The Internal & External Auditor course program covers the structure and principles of auditing internal and external processes. All activities and assessments are included within the course, with homework completed throughout the week. There are no post-course assessments.

- Preparing accurate and practical audit feedback

Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive 2 globally-recognised Exemplar Global Competency Units:
Exemplar Global -AU: Management systems auditing
Exemplar Global -TL: Leading management system audit teams
This course has the equivalent of 16 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours.
